Joe started building his practice in 2009 with State Farm Insurance selling auto, home, and life insurance in Montgomery and Bucks counties. He ignited his passion for leadership upon accepting the role of New Agent Trainer with Farmers Insurance in 2011. Within 12 months, he was the #1 rated Trainer in the Mid-Atlantic Zone and, before accepting a promotion into Recruiting, led the Training department to the top of the Zone’s rankings. As a nationally recognized Recruiter, Joe was the Recruiter of the Month in November 2012, December 2012, and March 2013. In September 2013, he accepted a promotion into Sales Management, where he led the Mid-Atlantic Zone’s top-performing sales unit in quoting and written premium.
Upon joining MassMutual Greater Philadelphia in 2014 as Vice President, Joe’s vision was to make MMGP the top destination in the country for financial representatives who want to build a comprehensive practice that provides both Financial Services and Property & Casualty solutions. While qualifying for MassMutual National Sales Manager Summit in 2016, he simultaneously directed the rise of MMGP to the #1 P&C program in the MassMutual system. Under Joe’s leadership, MMGP led the nation in P&C recruiting, quoting, and written premium from 2016 to 2018.
In 2018, he took the Property & Casualty program to new heights by co-founding Atlantic Agent Group, a company created for P&C Agents seeking the industry’s most growth-focused business model for Agency formation and operation. As its co-owner and CEO, Joe sets the organization’s strategic direction and serves as a business partner & coach to each of the group’s Member Agents.
Joe graduated in 2008 with a BA in Economics from Muhlenberg College and continues to feed his interest in behavioral economics. He enjoys giving back to his community via speaking engagements that focus on finding success after graduation and how to create & sustain great company cultures. He currently holds his Life Accident & Health license, Property & Casualty license, and his FINRA 6, 63 & 26 registrations. Joe is a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys spending time at his family’s vacation home on Lake Wallenpaupack. He and his wife, Alicia, currently reside in Collegeville PA with their son, JT.
