Bala Cynwyd, PA – May 18, 2015: When children or adults have special needs, their parents or caregivers can have special fears about their future care, finances, happiness and independence. But families in the Philadelphia region will be able to take a break from that anxiety during a trip to Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday, June 3rd, to see the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Cincinnati Reds.
First Financial Group is making this night at the park possible by donating over 500 tickets to the game. Located in Bala Cynwyd, PA, First Financial Group has sponsored Special Needs Awareness Night for the last eleven years and has hosted more than 4,000 disabled children, adults and their caregivers at its Phillies game night out.
“There is so much stress and worries in their lives,” said Harris Fishman, President and CEO of FFG, “this is a nice escape for a few hours.”
First Financial Group’s Senior Vice President of Agency Sales and Special Care Planner, Bruce Sham, has centered his practice around supporting families and individuals with special needs.
“It is always important to me to give back and make a difference in the lives of others. First Financial Group gives me the resources to do this,” said Sham, who raised a special needs daughter who is now an adult and living independently.
This year FFG will honor The Philly Friendship Circle.
